Each room is uniquely decorated in Art Deco style with a different natural art canvas that occupies an entire wall. Complimented by an accent decorative pattern, Czechoslovakian crystal chandeliers, clean line furniture and a overall crisp atmosphere.
Centrally located in the heart of South Beach, The President Hotel's location provides easy access to diverse sports, entertainment and cultural activities such as the Jackie Gleason Theatre, New World Symphony, South Pointe Park and Art Deco District.
The President Hotel, designed by L. Murray Dixon, is an elegant example of 1930s Classic Art Deco with recessed corners, framed windows, horizontal banding, decorative wrought iron railings and patterned terrazzo floors. The President Hotel building was designed in 1936 and built in 1937. The original features of the building include floors, murals, and ironwork that have been restored to their original splendor. The President Hotel is located in the heart of the Art Deco District and is just two blocks from Lincoln Road and one block from the beach.
